Wedding Planning

Photos by:

It’s no secret that Minted, collective of wedding stationery extraordinaires, always brings their A-game when it comes to matching style with personality. But what you might not be familiar with is their newly launched collection of free wedding websites… WHAT? Their modern aesthetic has landed itself in the digital world, and we couldn’t be happier to share that with you today!

Just imagine having one cohesive look from your save-the-dates to your hype site (we’re coining this phrase) to your actual wedding day! The style speaks for itself, but we love how informative their wedding websites can be. Guests can learn every last detail about your wedding day, get to know your sweetie + squad and access your registry information in one easy-to-find place. There are hundreds of unique website designs to choose from, and each design is available in 3 layouts. Minted encourages all couples to get creative with their site and choose the combo that truly looks + feels like them. Having a site that already matches your invitations is one less thing on your to-do list, and it ensures a cohesive look every step of the way.

To boot, they offer unique features with Premium membership ($35 one-time payment) like a custom URL and website privacy option to ensure the only people viewing this personal info are the people you want viewing it. This upgrade also includes a Photo Gallery page, and we’re happy to report that Minted grants you permission to share your engagement photos without reservation – so go crazy. We’re serious when we say Aunt Anita will LOVE looking through these from 7 states away.

But perhaps our favorite feature is the RSVP page, which allows you to communicate with and view the status of all your invitees for multiple wedding events! It’s easy to track, easy to access and will save you a headache & a half when it comes to RSVP stragglers. Minted’s website designs are responsive and compatible on all devices, including mobile and tablet. You can also include a maps & accommodations page to make sure no one but your fiancé is giving you a ring on the big day.

So browse through their vast collection of designs and give this delightful freebie a try! We can’t wait to see your creative minds at work as you share your story with Minted.

Concertina Press

Sailboats, waves, octopus and jellyfish are just a few of the amazing seaworthy designs featured in Concertina Press’s line of vintage inspired nautical wedding invitations and stationery.

“Ruth is an exceptional artist and artisan! She was very prompt to stay in communication with me throughout my ordering process. She worked with me to make sure that all my needs were met exactly. It was so comforting to work with her through the stressful process of ordering the perfect wedding invitations! I absolutely LOVE the way her products turned out, and cannot wait to send them to all my guests! Thank you SO MUCH Ruth, your kindness and professionalism have helped me more than you know!” ” – Emily D.

After living in the small town of Woods Hole on Cape Cod for nearly 11 years, Ruth, the owner and designer of Concertina Press, moved down to the sunny East coast of Florida to be closer to family. Her Cape Cod map save the date is still widely popular with couples getting married on the Cape, along with the matching wedding invitation. Since moving south she’s added more tropical designs including seahorses, sand dollars and waves.

Ruth takes pride in customer service, and making the online ordering process as easy as possible while still remaining personalized. You can purchase samples of any of her invitations online, or contact her directly with any questions or for a quote.

For so many, Paris is synonymous with romance. Delicious food, impeccable parks, romantic language, and some of the world’s best wine are just a few of its draws, which also made it the perfect location for today’s styled shoot from Tim Tab Studios, Avec Weddings and Events, and Floresie. The team worked its magic both in the city center, and also in a beautiful chateau just a bit further down south for some gorgeous chateau action!

My company, Crimson Letters creates unique hand painted wedding stationery, specialising in opulently painted, heavily illustrated design work, with calligraphy. All items are digitally printed from a master watercolour or acrylic artwork piece and individually and lovingly painted upon. Using only the finest papers and card stock sourced from London And Paris.

I’m a British designer with a degree in textile design, artist and a person with a passion for intricate creativity who’s inspired by all fine things, whether it’s food, interiors or architecture. I’m influenced heavily by my love of travelling, my rich heritage and travelling frequently through the Mediterranean where I have family in Portugal and Paris. I’m exhilarated and humbled by the beauty of this world. Bringing these ideas back to my design studio, each piece is fuelled from the cultures across the world.

I enjoy bringing a fresh decadent approach to wedding invitations, which are a timeless medium. I have always loved weddings and seeing the bride in her white dress has always been a magical moment for me. I feel completely over the moon to be able to create irreplaceable memoirs that the bride can look back on one day with a huge smile.

When I’m not busy in my design studio, I love exploring new parts of Europe, trying to improve my hopelessly basic French and Portuguese skiing, cross stitching, kissing my sons, watching period dramas and painting whilst drinking copious amounts of tea.

Casey Brodley, Photographer

I’m not a traditional wedding photographer. My background and training is steeped in photo journalism, so that’s how I approach a wedding. My goal is to document the day, not stage it. I let moments unfold naturally, with minimal prom posing and minimal “say cheese” interference.

As a photo journalist, I come prepared for anything. Every wedding is different. I have witnessed full-grown men weep more times than I can count. I have seen smiles so wide that I’m concerned someone may burst a blood vessel. I have climbed mountains with all my gear. And this one time a sprinkler system was triggered during a ceremony.

As a wedding photographer, I walk into every job with the guarantee that I will witness pure joy. But more importantly, I walk into every job with the probability that my day will end with cake. I like to keep my cake-to-work ratio balanced. For health reasons.
