Brooklyn Restaurant Wedding

From the very first image, I fell head over heels in love with this wedding. Of course, when has that not been the case when I see a wedding from the incredible Lev Kuperman? This intimate Brooklyn wedding at the popular pizza joint Roberta’s is full of love, an amaaazing dress, and sweet little vintage details.

From the bride, Lissette: We wanted our wedding to be intimate, to feel like a celebratory dinner party at our favorite Brooklyn restaurant. We tried to avoid a theme and didn’t mind if it was eclectic, as long as it reflected us and our style.

The venue has this urban, Brooklyn feel so we decided to keep decor simple and classic. We didnt want the space to be visually overwhelming, and decided to use white whenever possible, with gold and silver as accent colors. We added in some soft pinks and lavenders with the flowers. It was important to us that every detail have meaning, so we designed and made all of the printed pieces ourselves – menus, confetti bags, table numbers. Other decor that was used came from our apartment, so it felt like an extension of our home. The L&B neon was a surprise that Byron got made! I couldn’t believe it when I walked down the isle. It was the perfect addition to our Brooklyn wedding.

Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? It’s really easy to get carried away with wanting to add more to the decor, but we found that it can sometimes feel impersonal. Keep things simple – it makes planning and your wedding day much easier since you’re not stressing over all the little details.
