Alder Manor Wedding with a Mint Green Dress

The second we saw bride Angelica’s vintage Carolina Herrera’s wedding gown, it took our breath away – there’s no other way to put it. The Melideos did both the gown and the entire wedding day justice behind the camera, while Fox Fodder Farm provided the positively stunning flowers.

From the photographers, The Melideos: It’s always fun to head back to one of our favorite venues, especially one that is constantly changing! Alder Manor in Yonkers, New York is under new management and they have been restoring this incredible mansion so that every time we have shot a wedding here, there have been some new surprises around every corner. While it’s looking less and less abandoned and decrepit (one of the reasons we absolutely loved it at first), it is being restored to its former glory and is just as stunning as ever. From that grand staircase to the architecture, there truly is a photo op everywhere you look!

We were so excited to see Angelica and Justin again, we met them for the first time over a year before their wedding and we just knew this was going to be a fun celebration! When I saw Angelica’s vintage Carolina Herrera minty gown I think I did a cheesy fist pump and screamed “yessssssss!!!”, it was so unique and beautiful. Her lovely fishtail braid and the stunning bouquet just pulled the entire ensemble together and made her look like a fairy princess. We love when brides think outside of the box and choose to go with a gown that reflects their personality and style! Angelica and Justin are two of the sweetest most adorable people on the planet. They just oozed adorableness, and after every photo I think I basically melted into a puddle. It was such a beautiful party, such a fun event, and we absolutely loved being a part of it!
